Every once in a while, an issue may be discovered in Dataverse. In order for us to best help you, we sometimes must request a copy of your log files. The following directions outline how to collect these files:
- Navigate to %LocalAppData%\Dataverse\site in Windows Explorer. While there are a number of ways to do this, the easiest is to go to Start->Run, place "%LocalAppData%\Dataverse\site" into the Run box that appears, and press Enter.
- In the Explorer window that appears, make a copy of the "logs" directory.
- Zip up the copy of that directory. (If you zip up the original, you may not get all the files!)
- E-mail it to us or attach it to your post!
